Story Land
Glen, NH
June 2006

I had a chance to quickly visit Story Land again this year.  I was in the area for my vacation and thought it would be fun to stop in and get some updated pictures.  I knew they got a new ride this season, so at the very least, I needed to check it out.  A special thanks to my friends that went with me to help take the pictures.

When we arrived, it was really pouring out and it was toward the end of the day.  The park was closing, but I did meet up with the parks PR guy, Jim Miller, and he allowed me to enter the park so I could take a few pictures (thanks again Jim!).  So, sorry for the soggy looking pictures.

The new ride looks great as you can see for yourself.  It is a Larson Flying Scooter ride named the Flying Fish that was themed and painted by the park staff.  What a great job.  It really shows that a lot of hard work went into it!

Since the ride was way in the back of the park, we got the chance to snap a few other pictures on our back to the front gate.

One last note, I was informed that this year will be the final season that the Heritage Museum, a walk through adventure, will run.  The park plans to close the Museum and add a new attraction in there.  At this time, the park was uncertain as to what they will add in there, but idea's such as a Sally Dark Ride or a 3-D movie might be considered.
